Audiovisual/Media Services

The audiovisual service supports teaching and learning at the School of Medicine by providing the highest quality of technical assistance, advice and customer service to the faculty, staff and students.

Audiovisual services includes the setup, pickup, operation and maintenance of all types of audiovisual equipment including but not limited to: LCD data/video projectors, video players/monitor units, laptop computer and conferencing phone systems.

Events requesting AV support that are outside the scope of Medical Education are subject to a rate of $75 per hour. Any meeting requesting AV support after hours is subject to an overtime rate of $112.50 per hour.

Business hours are 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday - Friday.

All audiovisual equipment must be reserved separately from the room reservation and should be made at least 2 weeks before the event.  To reserve equipment, please send an email to somav@med.wayne.edu.  Your request should include the location, date, time both beginning and ending, type of equipment and type of service requested.
