Laser printing

Laser Print Paper Weights:

• Text Weights: 24#, 28#, and 32#
• Cover Weights (Cardstock): 60# to 120#

Paper Sizes:

• Letter: 8.5 × 11 inches
• Legal: 8.5 × 14 inches
• Tabloid: 11 × 17 inches (exactly double a letter page)
• Tabloid Extra: 12 × 18 inches

Ordering Laser Prints on Text Weight Stock:

• White Space: All laser prints will have a quarter-inch white space around the edges. To achieve full ink coverage, select a larger paper size and provide crop marks and bleeds.
• Trimming: If you require prints to be trimmed in half or quartered, please provide a PDF file set up to fit the page accordingly.
• Crop Marks and Bleeds: Understanding crop marks, bleeds, and final page trim size is crucial. For more information, please read about crop marks and bleeds here: Crop Marks and Bleeds.
• Document Pages: Ensure you count the pages in your document when uploading for printing.

Booklet Printing (Folded and Stapled):

• Sizes:
  • A letter-sized booklet will be printed on tabloid-sized paper.
  • A statement-sized booklet will be printed on letter-sized paper.
• Panels and Pages: When folded, a booklet has 4 reading panels per sheet of paper (referred to as a "printer page"). For example, if you need 30 booklets, each containing 4 printer pages (16 reading pages), you will need to print 120 printer pages (30 booklets × 4 printer pages).
• Page Count: All booklets must have a total reading page count divisible by 4.
• Submission: Submit booklets as single-page PDFs.
• White Space: As with other prints, a quarter-inch white space will be present around all laser prints. For full ink coverage, select a larger paper size and provide crop marks and bleeds.
